Outside, the beach stretches out in its mix of pebbles and sand at low tide. It is less about luxury and more about ritual; morning coffee facing the tide, picnic lunches in the windbreak, and evenings watching the sun drop behind the Isle of Wight in the distance.
There is vehicular access via a locked security gate with access for hut owners only with a parking space adjacent to the hut. The beach area in front of the huts is for public use. A useful communal water tap supplying drinking water is just behind the huts next door.
