Description
*DETACHED HOUSE WITH LARGE GARDEN!*
Miles and Barr are delighted to be marketing this three bedroom detached house along London Road, Teynham. The property was built in 1998 and has been very well insulated. The plot features a driveway at the side and a double width garden compared with most along the road, offering lots of potential. During the current owners time at the property, they have carried out numerous improvements, including but not limited to the installation of triple glazed windows, and a new combi-boiler installed in 2019.
In the current layout, there is an entrance hall with the WC on the left and the kitchen on the right hand side. This then leads into the open lounge/diner, and then a conservatory at the rear, which provides access to the rear garden. On the first floor there is a modern wet room installed at the top of the stairs, this was replaced in 2019. There are two double bedrooms, with the master having a built-in cupboard and then a third bedroom which is currently being used as an office.
Externally there is off street parking for a number of cars, access from the driveway at the side and the garden is split in to two sections, and backs on to fields behind.
The property could benefit from some cosmetic updates, but this is a great opportunity to own a detached house, with a generous garden.
The property is brick and block construction and there has been a wet room/level access shower added.

Location
Teynham is a thriving village situated some 4 miles to the west of Faversham and providing excellent road and rail access to Sittingbourne. The village boasts a school, several pubs, train station and local shops, hair dressers, post office and restaurants. Teynham offers a variety of properties ranging from period farmhouses through to modern bungalows. Sittingbourne is located in the Swale area of North Kent, this thriving town is full of cafes and restaurants and hosts a weekly Friday market. In nearby Sheerness, meanwhile, market day comes twice a week - Tuesdays and Saturdays are the days for bargain hunting there. Sittingbourne is also home to the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway, which puffs back into the town's paper-milling past. The 52-hectare Milton Creek Country Park has play spaces and trails among its meadows and wetlands, while the marshes and mudflats of the Oare Marshes Nature Reserve in Faversham give host to migrating, overwintering and breeding birds. The town offers an excellent range of schools and also fantastic access to London via the M2 and train station. The village is notable for Doddington Place Gardens which boast lovely landscaped gardens, recognised as being of historical importance by English Heritage, are set in the grounds of an imposing Victorian mansion and cover ten acres. The gardens have been open in aid of the National Gardens Scheme for more than fifty years. Doddington is a quiet village with a good community spirit and is ideal for purchasers who wish to live in a semi rural location but within only a 20 minute drive to Faversham train station with high speed links to London.
