Turning A CRM Into A USP: How Move Revolution Streamlined Their Processes and Won More Clients With Street.co.uk

Move Revolution is an employee-owned estate agency, operating with a ‘hub’ model across London, Surrey, and Sussex. First launched in 2009, Move Revolution pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service, as well as professional-standard photography and marketing services, across both Sales and Lettings. We spoke with their Managing Director, Paul Mulligan, to learn how Street.co.uk had helped them transform their agency’s day-to-day operations, improve their offering to clients, and stand out against their competitors.

The Challenge

Move Revolution had been using the same system since they launched in 2009, but found that it didn’t align with them as a modern, forward-thinking agency, and was letting them down in terms of efficiency.

Day-to-day, many key functions were carried out manually – particularly things like contract admin and liaising with buyers – and this was slowing them down.

“We’d create a hard copy of business terms or create a Docusign, the client would then sign it, our team would then print it off, scan it, upload it back onto Drop Box, save it there, to load it onto our old CRM. Sales people don’t particularly enjoy admin, and it was taking them away from selling.”

They’d been using their previous CRM for 14 years, but weren’t receiving ongoing support, and noticed a lack of optimisation or updates across the platform. 

As a result, they were also looking for a platform that offered consistent training, so their whole team could get the most out of the software.

“It was incredibly important that we got everyone to use the software in the same way, and adopted a standardised process.”

The Solution

With their contract with their previous CRM coming to an end, they knew it was time to look for a more modern platform that better fit their agency’s needs.

It was a huge decision to switch CRM, especially for Paul, who’d only been Ops Director at Move Revolution for a few months – but Street.co.uk’s Customer Success team put them instantly at ease.

Move Revolution were also keen to adopt a CRM that allowed them to track and measure their KPIs. With Street.co.uk’s customisable dashboard feature, this was simple, and they could easily see viewings, valuations won, sales agreed, instructions won, and more.

“For this, Street.co.uk is great as we have dashboards and leader boards, so we always know where we’re up to. The team always has the leaderboard up and it’s created some healthy competition internally, and this enhances what the team does.”

The Results 

After rolling out Street.co.uk across their hubs in 2023, Move Revolution were able to digitise their manual processes and saw huge improvements in their efficiency – particularly with their compliance processes, and how their team followed up with potential buyers.

“With Street, we love that we can keep all of our documents in one software, send them out through that same software, and our clients can sign through that software. Whereas before it was an extremely manual process, now it’s two clicks of a button and it’s done. 

Street streamlines processes we hadn’t even thought about. Because it’s built by agents, Street has thought about every single facet of the role and streamlined parts of it that we didn’t even realise we were doing in such a convoluted way.”

Self-serve, 24/7 communication with mobile apps

Move Revolution have also embraced Street.co.uk’s Agent and Client Apps, with incredible feedback from both staff and clients.

“We’ve had a great experience with the Agent App. As we don’t have traditional high street offices, everyone’s out and about on appointment on Saturdays – so our agents find it really helpful to just pull up contact details or soft facts about properties to help with viewings. Street is something we’re talking to clients about on a daily basis, for example, at valuations. It’s completely interactive, sets us apart from our competition, and it’s become part of our client offering – clients love it.”

In contrast to their experience with their previous CRM, Street.co.uk has not only transformed Move Revolution’s internal processes, but become a key USP that sets them apart from competitors when dealing with clients.

“On a Friday evening, everyone was calling or texting their buyers to make sure they were still on for viewings, and Street just does all of that for you – and also gives the buyer the option to actually reschedule the viewing as well if needed. 

Clients love the ability to have an account, and to get their feedback through the app. It enhances the communication that we offer. Street really backs up what we’re doing on a daily basis.”

Streamlined property management and client accounting

More recently, Move Revolution have also rolled out Street.co.uk for the Lettings side of their agency. Whereas previously, they managed maintenance jobs and invoices with contractors manually, Street.co.uk allows them to share invoices in just a few clicks, saving their Head of Property Management valuable time. 

“We’ve been using Street Lettings and Client Accounting for 2 months, and the feedback from staff using it every day is that it’s virtually ‘foolproof’ – you can’t really go wrong or make a mistake. In particular, exporting bank statements and identifying which payment they relate to is so much easier for our Head of Property Management now we use Street.”

And when we asked Paul to sum up his experience with Street.co.uk?

“If we were to do our job without Street, it would be like going ten steps backwards. I think for us, Street has improved everything we do on a day-to-day basis, and it’s improved our offering to clients. It would be like going back 10 years, which we don’t want to do.”
