What’s new in Street.co.uk? Development Update May 2024

Product Marketing Manager

The Street.co.uk team has been hard at work in May, releasing a host of exciting new features across the Street.co.uk CRM. These updates include enhancements to the Agent App and Client Accounting workflows, changes to the Property Keys page, and so much more. Get all the latest information below.

Stay on top of busy appointment schedules.

Our latest update means that you’ll receive a push notification directly to your phone whenever an appointment is coming up. By tapping on the notification, you'll be able to view details of the appointment, and even the customer’s name. This update won’t just prevent you from missing a scheduled appointment on a busy day, it will also ensure that you can swiftly recall a customer's name, offering a more personalised service for every single client.

Confidently hold keys with our new workflow.

We’ve revamped our keys workflow, allowing you to select an expected return day on your keys. That means, when you view key details on a property page, you can check out keys and choose a new expected return date. We’ve designed this update to give you the confidence to hold keys and the ability to view any that are overdue, with a clear record of where they are at all times.

Get more flexibility on your applicant tables.

With this update, you can now customise your Sales and Lettings Applicants tables to give everyone in your team their own chosen view by clicking on the ‘Edit Columns’ button. You can choose which columns you want to display, and reorder the view with a simple drag and drop. These changes can be easily saved and they’ll remain that way when you come back - however, you can also reset the view to default at any point.

Tackle unreturned funds while making a difference.

Handle the burden of unreturned client funds and make a positive impact, while ensuring you’re covered if the client ever wants to reclaim the money with our new Dormant Funds tag.

The tag is for unclaimed client account funds over 6 years old, and within this tag, we’ve also provided a link to donate the funds to The Propertymark Trust which all goes back into helping our industry.

The Propertymark Trust is set up to provide help to members, whether that’s support during financial hardship or educational grants to become a better-qualified agent.

Easily calculate NRL payments.

Make correct calculations and stay on top of non-resident landlord tax payments with our new NRL Tax feature. Now, when you’re dealing with overseas landlords, you’ll see an automatic NRL tax deduction at 20% which will be withheld from the payment to the landlord. This can be actioned by clicking ‘allocate’, so the right payments are made to HMRC at the end of every quarter.

Resend landlords’ statements.

Easily action resend requests, all while on the phone to landlords, with our latest feature enhancement. Now, on an owner page, you can view Statement numbers in the Statements Table, allowing you to easily identify and resend any statements the landlord requests.
