What's new in Street.co.uk? Development Update September 2024

Product Marketing Manager

At Street.co.uk, we are always striving to improve our platform to help agents work more efficiently. In the past few weeks, our product teams have been hard at work delivering a range of new features and enhancements across sales, lettings, and property management. Here’s a look at what’s new.

BUYER EXPERIENCE

The Buyer App has landed

We've launched the Buyer App, completing our free consumer app suite for agents and their clients. This first-of-its-kind solution simplifies the buying journey with a personalised dashboard, allowing users to view appointments, manage viewings, submit offers, and stay informed in real time. It empowers buyers with greater control while easing the workload for agents, delivering a seamless, modern experience that keeps everyone moving forward.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Upgraded compliance & maintenance features

Street.co.uk’s Compliance & Maintenance features have received several updates. You can now create maintenance jobs directly from certificates, and uploading a certificate automatically updates the property’s records. Certificates can also be marked as non-renewing if no further action is required. Additionally, new filters allow agents to view certificates only for managed tenancies, and you can set required certificates per property more accurately during onboarding.

SALES & LETTINGS

Sales applicants can now leave notes with their offers

Sales applicants can now add notes when submitting offers online. These notes are seamlessly integrated into your offer workflow in Street CRM, allowing agents to review and share any important details with vendors. This makes it easier to log and communicate specific requests, such as including fixtures or fittings, to ensure nothing is missed during the offer process.

SALES & LETTINGS

Usability updates to valuation pages

We’ve revamped the Valuation page for better accessibility and efficiency. With collapsible sections and a cleaner UI, agents can now navigate with ease. A visible property bar provides quick access to property details, while a redesigned banner prompts agents to complete the valuation process. The Valuation research page has also been reorganised to deliver a smoother experience.

AGENT APP

More calendar events in the Agent App

The Street Agent App has been upgraded to show additional calendar events, such as Move In, Key Collection, Check Out, and Inventories. This enhancement helps agents stay on top of important appointments, even when they’re on the go.

SALES & LETTINGS

Custom applicant lead sources

A new ‘applicant lead source’ field lets agents track lead origins using customisable options like “Direct Mail” or “Branch Event.” Agents can easily add or disable lead sources to manage their lead tracking more accurately.

SALES & LETTINGS

Sales/Lettings applicant tags for viewings

We’ve introduced new Sales/Lettings applicant tags to the calendar view, making it easier to distinguish whether a viewing is for a sales or lettings applicant. This enhancement was based on user feedback to improve appointment management.

SALES & LETTINGS

Share codes now available within the Right to Rent feature

Agents now have the option to include a share code within the Right to Rent feature, helping to prove a tenants right to reside.

SALES & LETTINGS

Completion dates for exchanged sales

When exchanging a sale, agents are now prompted to add an expected completion date and have the option to schedule follow-ups. This update also allows tracking different completion dates for both buyer and seller, ensuring everything stays on schedule.

THE BASICS

User Management overhaul

Agents can now manage users with a new user management table that displays role (agent, company admin, branch admin), account status, two-factor authentication (2FA) status, and assigned branches. It’s easier than ever to manage user roles, activate or deactivate accounts, and ensure team security.

THE BASICS

Welcoming New Users to Street

Inviting new team members to Street has been simplified. Agents can now send account invites directly from the user management section and resend welcome emails at any time. You can even bulk send invites to any users who have not yet logged in, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new users.

MIGRATION

Migration improvements with Bridge

We've made several enhancements to our Bridge tool to help agents migrate data from custom CRMs. Active maintenance jobs and completed property sales history can now be imported, ensuring no active tasks are lost during the transition. Agents can also now send welcome emails or password reset links with a single click, and the system provides clearer feedback when data processing is complete.

As always, Street clients have immediate access to these updates. Log in today and explore the new features, or request a demo to get a personalised tour of Street.co.uk.
