What’s new in Street? Development Update November 2022

Head of Product

It’s been almost a month since our last development update - and that’s because our team has been gearing up for our Lettings Launch event on the 16th of November!

While there are some things we’re keeping under wraps until then, here are some of the other smaller features the team has been working on.

Fee finding for withdrawn properties

After one of your vendors withdraws their property from the market, they may then go on to sell with another agent or directly to an applicant. And in these scenarios, you may be owed fees.

For auditing and lost fee finding purposes, Street.co.uk now automatically generates a list of all applicants that were 'introduced' by your agency - which includes people that have viewed or offered on each property.

This list will be emailed to the vendor and a copy will also be sent to you - ensuring all parties have full visibility and helping you recover any costs you may have incurred. As always with Street.co.uk, you can customise the content for these emails or choose whether to send them by toggling the email on or off in the notification settings - so you remain in full control of your agency’s communications.

Descriptions for properties listed as both For Sale and To Let

When properties are listed as both ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’, the descriptions for these respective listings may need to be different - so we’ve added this functionality within Street.co.uk.

Now, when you go to edit a description, any property that has both listing types will have an option to create a separate description for the Let listing - allowing you to tailor the advert to the relevant applicant.

Easy EPC image generation

We’ve now made it even easier to add EPC information to each of your properties! You can simply input the EPC numbers and Street.co.uk will automatically generate an image of the EPC graph, saving you from manually adding additional documents. This is stored against the property and can even be used on portals or as an image in the marketing brochure.

Custom notes when ordering a property board

When ordering a property board to be installed, you will often need to provide some extra information to the supplier, such as location and installation guidance.

To ensure the perfect installation and to save you from contacting the supplier directly, you can now add notes via the property board modal in Street.co.uk, which will be automatically included in the email sent to suppliers.

Customisable window cards

Create beautiful, eye-catching and on-brand window cards every time with Street.co.uk’s built-in design tool.

You can now add all the same elements that are available when creating property brochure templates, such as a QR Code, agent logo, and front and background layers. Plus, you will also have the chance to edit the window card before generating it - ensuring total perfection.

Viewings table filtering

Here at Street.co.uk, we work closely with agencies up and down the country to develop our platform in ways which benefit them. Larger agencies told us that they often have one agent who is responsible for booking viewings and chasing feedback, and this is a separate agent from the one that actually attends the viewing.

For businesses that operate this way, we have added separate columns on the viewings workflow to show both the Booking and Viewing Agent, and these can be individually filtered for enhanced oversight.

Those are all of the developments we can divulge right now! But there are many, many more exciting features and announcements coming…

If you haven’t already, secure your spot for our online launch event on Wednesday, 16th of November at 4pm. We’ll be covering eight huge innovations we’ve added to our Sales CRM, as well as showcasing our brand-new, revolutionary Lettings platform.
