What’s new in Street? July 2022 Development Update

Head of Product

The weather has reached scorching highs across the country this week, and we’ve also been burning through the developments over at Street HQ… keep reading to find out what we’ve been working on in the first half of the month.

Acreage now available in property listings

We’ve added acreage onto our property listings so agents can successfully showcase their vendor’s properties by including every little detail. Plus, by inputting the amount of land that comes with each property, agents can send more precise property matches to applicants - which result in more viewings and offers.

See the average amount over/under the asking price

Knowing how much over or under the asking price (on average) your agency is achieving is extremely valuable for agents. While we originally set this as a percentage amount, we soon realised for marketing, PR, and just generally chatting to applicants that having a monetary figure instead would prove more helpful - just think about how great it would be to tell applicants that “on average we achieve £8K over the asking price”...

Know whether applicants have seen the property before on viewings

Applicants coming back to view a property for the second or third time will undoubtedly change the way agents conduct the viewing. Street.co.uk now flags when it’s not the first time an applicant is visiting the property by highlighting it on the branch calendar and on the viewing page. And even better, it also links to the previous viewings so agents can access past feedback and any other notes from the applicant to ensure the next viewing goes just as well as the first.

Choose your salutation for your valuation

No, we didn’t just add in this feature because it rhymed… agents told us they enjoyed having control over which salutations they used in their emails so they could address their clients in their own personal style. And before long, we also started receiving numerous requests to edit the salutations in valuations as well… so we did just that.

As the heatwave soars across the UK, we’re busy soaring through brand-new developments… so we can make our CRM as red hot as possible.
